Stormy Weather

It’s crazy windy out here today, and you wouldn’t believe the kind of stuff that’s flying around. I saw a kiddie surfboard pass by my window a while ago. Also, two of the flower pots on my balcony fell and broke. Whoops. But I didn’t hear anyone yell, so I’m assuming I didn’t cause any concussions…
I can’t help but think of Billie Holliday whenever the weather gets like this –though I bet she didn’t have sunny blue skies (or surfboards) in mind when she sang the song. I’ve got it on the loop as we speak: perfect Sunday music.
