30, professional nomad (right now France is home), addicted to fiction (both books and movies), skinny like [.] but eat like [......] –go ahead, hate me, soon my metabolism will let me down and we’ll all laugh. Love trees and sunshine, as long as I’m in the shade (hence the trees), rain and grey skies really get me down. ‘Feeling’ person, it’s impossible to have a decent argument with me. Love the smell of roses, the word ‘cardamom’, to laugh. Three words to sum me up: laid-back quirky sweetness.

Ola! Como esta! Greetings from the Philippines.

I got your link from Rice Bowl Journal and I like your space here. I’d like having friends from across the world, so I add you. From now on, I’d be a frequent reader and visitor of your blog. Is that Ok?

    Hola muchacha! Que tal?

Yeah, we have similar layout. My banner photo was taken from the view of Diamondhead in Fantasy island in Alamoana beach park, just in case you’re wonderin’.

BTW, cute cat. I hope the birds don’t pester him anymore. Do you guys live by the ocean by any chance?

    bien, hombre. ^ -

wow, looked that beach park up on the net. don’t tell me you live right around the corner?

and re the ocean: tricky question at the mo, as i’m in between homes yet again. but i did spend the past 18 months at the mediterranean outside of barcelona. oof, homesick for a second! still, the next home will be great as well, i’m sure…

You weren’t kidding when you said professional nomad. but how can you get homesick when home is a million other different places? he he he. Just wonderin’. I have moved around alot myself so it’s hard to say which one is my real home but for now Hawai’i is my home and I am loving it so much.

Are you still in Barcelona? My maternal grandmother’s ancestors are from there originally but I have yet to set my foot there. Hopefully one day I can go and trace back my family tree.

I actually live on the the North side of the island which is considered “country” because of the pineapple fields. Alamoana and Diamondhead is on the city/South side but I spend most of my Saturdays at swimming at Alamoana beach park. It’s a great place to workout and take pictures.

    Jya, mata ne!

wow, that sounds neat! i’m a swimmer myself, i’d love to check it out sometime…

the homesickness i was referring to has more to do with blue sky and sun, come to think of it. i’m so not a northern hemisphere kinda girl…i’m staying with my folks in brussels (belgium) for a while, but can’t wait to head back to the south. bcn is history for me though. but it’d be a great place to go and trace the family tree! ^-

yeah should check it out when get a chance to come here. yeah, i enjoy swimming but I’m not exactly a very good one, you can probably out swim me any day.

i can’t imagine how could it is there at this time of the year. I was in Hokkaido in early december of last year and I thought it was really cold. So when you do you plan to move to warmer climate?

  9. I like your name Tokyo Rose. Where did you get the inspiration? It’s simple, and oddly likeable. :)
